Team Stirista: Olivier Fabre

This month’s Team Stirista blog features Olivier Fabre, our southern California-based Director of Loyalty & Acquisition Programs.  

Tell us about your daily and overall responsibilities as well as how your average workday looks.

Overall, I am responsible for helping brands and agency partners solve their marketing challenges and help them grow sales.

My role is to recommend the best options for clients to reach the right customers, engaging them across all channels by recommending data-based ad campaigns via email, direct mail, social, and display ads. The objective is to make sure the data and campaigns perform to the client’s expectations.

My day is spent researching company objectives, contacting decision makers, and introducing Stirista’s data and campaign solutions. The clients I reach vary, but I would say they are predominantly retailers, home services, tech companies, and ad agencies.

What do you like best about working at Stirista?

It’s the collaborative and agile culture that makes Stirista a great place to work!  We are surrounded by people who work hard and are eager to learn and help each other.

The industry reputation for providing quality data is also established and critical. Stirista keeps us challenged by delivering innovative and cutting-edge technology and marketing solutions. That’s important to me.

What excites you most about your job?

I can count on the latest tools to help clients achieve their objectives. We juggle a unique blend of activities, such as data, analytics, and ad campaign execution. Knowing that we provide precision of small data and the scale of big data.  

I am also confident in our ability to offer complete and integrated omnichannel campaigns that modern marketers seek in the goal of engaging their customers. It’s gratifying to watch a client adopt tools that solve their challenges!

Tell us about your background. What did you do before coming to Stirista?

I have 20+ years of experience in sales and data marketing with technology, direct mail, marketing events, and consumer data companies.

Tell us something we don’t know about you or that others might be surprised to learn.

Convincing my wife that it was a good idea to empty the house into 10 suitcases and move our family of four to Europe at age 40. And it was!

What advice would you give to someone interested in your job?

My advice is to be passionate about data marketing. Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. Want to help solve clients’ problems. Be a good listener and be persistent.
