Stirista Welcomes Matthew Kenyon as New Senior Director of Identity Solutions
Stirista is proud to welcome Matthew Kenyon as Senior Director of Identity Solutions, reporting to Hamid Qaayum and working with Stirista’s New York-based team.
A direct marketing veteran, Matthew began his career in 1999 with Abacus, a division of DoubleClick, Inc. In 2006, he went to I-Behavior, where he rose to become the Vice President of Catalog & Retail. I-Behavior was then acquired by KBM/Wunderman/WPP. In 2011, Matthew moved on to the digital side of the industry and has since worked with companies throughout WPP, at eBay Enterprises, LiveIntent, Inc. and, most recently, Postie. Matthew brings a unique perspective and is ‘all in’ on the importance of identity resolution and people-based marketing.
“Matthew is one of the smartest people in the digital industry, having started his journey during the nascent days of internet advertising at DoubleClick. He was talking about “identity” long before it became cool,” says Ajay Gupta, Stirista’s co-founder and CEO. “Although he’s finally joining Stirista, Matthew has been part of our circle for a long time, always giving feedback and thoughtful ideas over the years. Fun fact: I met Matthew while trapped in the Javits Center in NYC right after Hurricane Sandy, and he’ll be joining Stirista right as COVID-19 starts to lessen in intensity.”
A native Texan, Matthew grew up in Sugar Land, a suburb of Houston, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1996. “I’m excited to join Stirista. It really is the perfect time, as if all the pieces are coming together. The success Stirista has had so far, along with the additional funding from Wavecrest, I know that together, we’ll take Stirista to the next level,” Matthew shares.
Away from the office, Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, taking weekend trips into NYC, watching movies, shopping, and attending area festivals. A sports fan, Matthew also enjoys watching his native Houston, Texas, teams – the Texans, Astros, and Rockets.
