Nikki Haley Political Case Study
An IE group approached Stirista to help raise money for Nikki Haley and other Asian-American political candidates. Haley was consistently finishing fourth out of four and was unable to gain an edge against her well-funded opponents. Stirista used its cultural marketing capabilities to segment and identify members of the Indian Diaspora, who were more likely to support Haley’s campaign. Stirista was able to turn Haley’s perceived weakness as a minority in South Carolina into a strength by focusing on her background and unique story. Haley went on to comfortably defeat a Democrat in the general elections.
AMMPP Stirista Political Case Study
Stirista outlines our work with AMMPP in this political case study. The Arizona Medical Marijuana Policy Project enlisted Stirista to help them gain votes for Proposition 203, which legalized medicinal marijuana in Arizona. But marketing a more liberal policy in a traditionally conservative state was no easy feat. Stirista segmented the campaign and sent over 10,000,000 emails appealing to voters using personal narratives. The risky strategy paid off, and in 2010 Arizona became the fifteenth state to legalize medicinal marijuana.

Our client, a publicly traded Fortune 500 giant, is one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. It’s America’s largest mobile and landline provider with over 250 million customers. In the face of relentless advertising from other mobile carriers, our client turned to online marketing to promote its mobile plans. However, after using the same vendor for years, the Company felt that their email marketing messages were falling flat with open rates dwindling at one to two percent. After using Stirista’s services, the Company saw a 400% increase in open rates and a 200% increase in click through rates.
George Washington University Case Study
In an increasingly competitive higher education market, George Washington University needed help reaching its target demographic to promote its wide range of Master’s programs. Stirista created an e-mail campaign targeting business professionals with a Bachelor’s degree who had shown an interest in continuing education, and invited recipients to a free seminar at the university. Thirty percent of the recipients who opened Stirista’s e-mails attended an admissions seminar at the university, ultimately increasing enrollment in its graduate programs. George Washington University was ecstatic and stated that it was the most successful campaign to date for its business school.
